YOUR ACCOUNT

TRACKSET stores your private email address, chosen handle, display name, profile details and the cars and social links you add. Passwords are stored as salted scrypt hashes; recovery codes and session tokens are stored as hashes. Your password and recovery code are never displayed on your public profile. Verification and password-reset emails are sent only for account management when delivery is connected; your account settings show its availability. Marketing email is not enabled. Save the recovery code shown at signup.

WHAT OTHERS SEE

Your profile, each car and each social link have independent visibility settings. Public content can be viewed by anyone and indexed by search engines. Hidden content is available only to its owner. Followers-only content is private to its owner until following is available. A private profile also restricts its cars. You can use a nickname and omit your region and social accounts. Do not add VINs, exact addresses, vehicle-storage locations or personal contact information to public text.

HOW DATA IS USED

Account information supports login, recovery, profile display, garage management and abuse prevention. Your email is not shared through public APIs. TRACKSET uses a secure, HttpOnly session cookie lasting up to seven days; signing out revokes that session. No advertising trackers have been added.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

Cloudflare hosts this site and database and provides Turnstile bot protection. Resend processes recipient addresses, account-email contents and delivery events to send verification and password-reset emails. Cloudflare receives normal request data, including IP address and browser information, and may retain security logs. Turnstile processes browser signals to detect abuse. Google Fonts receives normal network information when typefaces load. News, social and shop links open external services whose own terms apply.

RETENTION AND DELETION

Account data stays in the active community database until you delete your account. You can edit your profile, remove social links and delete cars at any time. Account deletion removes your profile, cars, links and sessions from active storage. Provider backups and operational logs may retain records under Cloudflare’s retention settings. Resend retains sent messages and delivery records under its provider retention settings. Expired sessions and short-lived rate-limit records are removed during subsequent account activity. This release does not accept uploads.

YOUR CONTROLS

Use Your Profile to change visibility or delete your account. A deletion requires your current password. If you lose your password, request an email reset link when delivery is available, or use your saved recovery code. Without both, recovery is unavailable in this release. Account deletion does not delete purchases made through the separate Printify shop.
