TRACKSET WORKBENCH / GUIDE

Document the build. Keep the details.

A good build journal makes the next job easier and tells the story behind the car.

Start with a baseline

Record your vehicle specification, mileage and what you want it to do. Keep identifying documents and exact storage locations private. A public build page does not need a VIN or home address.

Log each change

Save the date, mileage, part number, installation notes and before-and-after photos. Separate planned modifications from installed parts so people following the build can see the real progression.

Give performance data context

For dyno results, record the dyno type, correction method, fuel and conditions. For track results, note the venue, timing method, tires and configuration. Context makes comparisons useful.
